My name is Pamela and I am an artist and maker based in Cape Town, South Africa. Having grown up in Zimbabwe - I moved to Cape Town to study a degree in Fine Art at Michaelis School of Art where I majored in painting. I fell in love with Cape Town and have stayed here ever since, painting my way through homes across the city - not to mention the regular returns to the land of my heart that is Zimbabwe.

My practice is just that - an everyday attempt to sink further and further into the creative world - in one way or another. For the most part, it has welcomed me into its grooves after carving my way with some creative hustle and good old hard work. The truth of it is - I am interested in too many things, I’m in love with all sorts of mediums and I make too few choices - so I practice doing it all.

I hope you enjoy your time on this page - browsing my recent musings. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions - my hands may be full of paint, I may be fixating on a specific grain of warm-toned wood or staring awkwardly at something as I draw - but I’d love to chat to you too!

With warmth,
